About Me.
My name is Kaahinee, I'm 17 years old, and I started Macha's Bakery around 6 years ago when I was 12 years old during the first covid lockdown of 2020

Timeline
Age 7
I started hand making and selling scarves with my best friend in order to fund research trying to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes that my friend was diagnosed with
Age 12
I started to bake a lot during the lockdown, and started selling cakes and cupcakes to people in my community
With the money I earned I
-
Donated 100 cloth masks to the Aim for Seva orphanage
-
Rations worth Rs. 30,000 to an old age home
-
90 food packages to migrant workers
Age 14
Decided that my attempts at working towards poverty were futile and the most effective way of alleviating poverty was through education.
Redirected the funds towards funding the college education of girls who were academically brilliant but belonged to families who were financially unable to pay for their education.
Age 15
I was teaching a girl 7th grade math at an orphanage for differently abled children and she said she wanted to be an actor because "girls cant be engineers"
I realised how deeply rooted this belief was in our society
I decided to fund the education of 12 girls pursuing engineering through the profits earned by Macha's Bakery
Age 16
Conducted interviews with female executives in various fields and created a community where I shared them with these girls to inspire them, and show them that their gender is not a limitation, something they were told their whole life
